Job Description

The Learning Consultant ensures successful implementation of learning and talent development programs and initiatives in alignment with the Company’s strategic priorities and business goals. The Learning Consultant also oversees training and delivery activities as well as participates in the design and delivery of training programs as needed.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Consults with stakeholders and representatives from other functions in the region on learning strategies to drive business results; conducts needs analysis to determine the appropriate course(s) of action.

  • Facilitates learning programs to audiences at the region level and below with a focus on supervisor and manager development.

  • Partners with Learning Solutions and Organizational Development to implement talent development initiatives

  • Researches industry trends, concepts, and techniques for delivering high quality learning experiences to diverse audiences.

  • Participates in the development of metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Travel by air, car or other modes of transportation may be required up to 25% of the time.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience facilitating learning in classroom and/or blended environments.

  • Experience working with/applying adult learning principles.

  • Ability to quickly respond to changing work environments and audiences.

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a broad cross-function of employees, external customers and vendors in driving organizational change.
